Taken late in the evening (ca. 22:30) in the most beutiful place we've been on our journey - Geirenger. I've taken many great pictures that night, but this one is my favourite without any doubts.
Taken as HDR at -2/0/2, levels and contrast correction applied. No major editing nor colour/saturation adjustments. Comments

It really was. I noticed that at that kind of latitude colours of the clouds during sunset / sunrise are much more vivid.
Anyway, if you ever have opportunity to visit Norway - do it  -- A b s o l u t d e v i a n t.  This is, simply outstanding!

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Critiques
This is a very powerful picture. It has both incredibly peaceful elements in the lower half it aswell as those strong, dark clouds. If you cover each half just above the sun it shifts it's mood. I'm seriously fascinated about that.
Based on this I must say that you have found a very good composition to balance between those two moods. I just love the little rest of warmth and bright color of the sun on the clouds with its tip just showing above the mountain while the lower half is still well lit by diffusion, but there is nothing of that sunny warmth yet.
I think you've captured that sunset very nicely, and the rest of the sun being still visible is beautiful.
